This represents a combined 202,320 acres of land for sale in the state. Of South Carolina's 46 counties, Horry County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. The most expensive piece of land listed for sale in South Carolina on Lands of America recently was $19 million, though the median price for land and ranches for sale in South Carolina came in at $270,345. The average price of land and other rural acreage for sale in South Carolina was $540,182. There was 1,241 acres of sold land in South Carolina recorded in July 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a decrease in sales activity over July 2018 data. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $5.3 million. Horry County recorded the most land sales recently in the state.
